Global Town School Student Shines at Stanford’s Entrepreneurship Olympiad!
At Global Town School, we’re not just about education—we’re about unlocking potential. And our latest success story is proof! Mohamed Ahmed, one of our standout students, has just scored a major victory at the prestigious Entrepreneurship Olympiad held at Stanford University.
Meet Mohamed: A Rising Star
Mohamed Ahmed, a rising junior with dreams of attending an Ivy League university, has always been surrounded by the spirit of entrepreneurship. Growing up in a family of business innovators, his passion for starting a company to solve real-world problems was nurtured early. Since September 2023, Mohamed has been receiving tailored success coaching from Global Town School, and his journey has been nothing short of spectacular.
The Power of Success Coaching
Global Town School’s success coaching program is designed to support students’ academic and personal growth comprehensively. Whether aiming for top colleges, collegiate sports, or entrepreneurial ventures, our success coaches provide personalized guidance. They focus on actionable steps for each week, month, and year to help students achieve their long-term goals.
A Golden Opportunity
It was this comprehensive coaching that led Mohamed to the Entrepreneurship Olympiad, organized by Techdev Academy at Stanford University from July 22nd to 25th. Encouraged by his GTS success coach, Mohamed joined nearly 100 high school students and aspiring entrepreneurs from across the country in this unique event.

An Experience of a Lifetime
The Olympiad was packed with inspiring speakers, panels, and presentations covering everything from developing business ideas to marketing strategies. Students had the chance to interact with successful entrepreneurs, business consultants, professors, and influencers, including Nobel Prize recipient and renowned Stanford Professor Dr. Chu.

The Competition Heats Up
Throughout the Olympiad, participants worked individually or in groups to develop business ideas, culminating in a high-stakes pitch competition judged by top-tier entrepreneurs and business experts. Mohamed teamed up with three other students to pitch an innovative mouthguard designed to collect real-time health data and detect head injuries to prevent further harm.

Victory and Gratitude
Their dynamic and engaging presentation won them second place and a $5000 award to invest in their business idea. Overjoyed with their achievement, Mohamed credited Global Town School’s success coaching for making this opportunity possible.
“If it were not for Global Town School, I would not have had such an opportunity to meet great people, like-minded aspiring entrepreneurs, and spend four amazing days at Stanford University. I am extremely grateful for the success coaching I receive from Global Town School. Nowhere else can you receive such comprehensive, student-centered, and personalized coaching towards attaining your goals. I recommend it to any middle and high school students who want to accomplish great things in life,” said Mohamed.
